System for streamlined communication and check-in

Kiswire is a global manufacturer of steel wire and wire rope based in the Triangle industrial zone near Zlatec. In October 2019, the implementation of a truck retrieval system took place.

Simple but effective solution

Drivers pull into the parking lot opposite the hall, where an LED display is placed. Registration takes place at a self-service kiosk located in the gatehouse. The registration interface is designed to be as intuitive as possible and is available in several languages. This allows drivers with no previous experience to quickly find their way around and register. For the operator, a tailor-made interface for calling up and navigating to the check-in point has been created according to the analysis carried out. With one click, the next person waiting in the queue can be called up. The operator thus has almost no additional workload and can fully devote his time to the check-in process. When called up, the serial number assigned at registration is displayed on the screen. Call-up is supported by sending a localised SMS to the telephone number entered by the driver at registration, which provides further details on check-in. Of course, statistics on the number of vehicles checked in, waiting times, check-in duration and other monitored parameters are also available.

Smoothness and visibility in the clearance process

After the system was put into practice, unwanted communication between drivers and operators was minimised. The operator also has a constant overview of the registered vehicles and their status. This has made the whole check-in process smoother and more streamlined. The deployment of the system was supported by an analysis that made the installation and implementation of the system fast and without complications.
